What i notice about the language used in the book "Feed" is basically a teenager language. Cutting words and making up new words. This language that Anderson uses is sort of easy to understand because I'm a teenager and i do use some of the words too. I think that he purposely did this so because it's a book for teens and plus hello the book is based on a group of teenagers. This type of language is effective because most of the character uses words like, meg , mal , and dude. It's like all the characters talks in this kind of language even Titus father ( an adult ) uses "dude". For example on page 55 Titus asks his dad how his mom was doing and his answer this back to him " She's like, whoa, she's like so stressed out. This is... dude...Dude this is some way bad shit". ( Question mark Question mark). On page 21 Titus says that, "Quendy and Loga went off to the bathroom because hairstyle have changed." This statement tells us that theses girls don't think for themselves. They don't have their own unique personality that is them, but instead they always have to update the change and new "stuff". This also tells us that the feed is controlling them telling them what to wear what to buy and what's new and what's cool. I'm not necessarily saying that updating your fashion is a bad thing , but like we discussed in class the other day is that in present time our fashion is changing in a slow paste and not changing rapidly like in Feed. This book is dedicated to those who resist the feed. I think that the feed is what we call the "EVIL" Internet. The feed is only programed to show ad's so that people would buy them from feed crops. I think that resisting the feed means that you have to go against the feed and people who have them. Resisting the feed is like risking your life for something bad. I know that there are things that are similar to the feed. We could say that cell phones, and the Internet are types of feed that we use today. When you think of a cell phone you can even watch t.v and movie and surf the net on your phone. I think that no one can resist the feed because we all use technology everyday. If i can't even resist using my phone than we all resist the feed because it's so convenient and fast. This is why no one can resist the feed , we try but we wont be able to resist the FEED!

Advantages

• You can shop without really shopping.
• Order online.
• Fast and easy.
• You have a profile of things you like.
• GOOD DEALS

Disadvantages

• You get lesions
• You can't think for yourself.
• If you can't decide to buy anything, Nina pops out of nowhere and pretends to help you.
• AD'S AD'S AD'S buzzing in your ear.
• Constant talking about deals and stuff.
